- Watercolors are definitely the way to go for nebulae. I made a watercolor of the Eagle Nebula, and found a couple of tricks: dots of rubber cement on the paper before you paint can be peeled of after doing the background, leaving a little white circle which can be accented with white charcoal or colored pencil to make great stars. Also, salt sprinkled on the piece while the paint is wet gives a wonderful texture for clouds, though I think you already did that? *squints at the background*

- it's really nice, but the horse's leags are all a little akwars, but it's still a great picture. i love ur watercoloring.

- The idea is great! I think it would have worked better if you hadn't outlined it so much. One of the great things about watercolor is how much you can leave implied and still get the gist. I'd also flick some white acrylic to give it more of a space feel. But again, great idea. biggrin
