This was done as a commission for a friend of mine who wanted me to draw another friend of ours as she appears in the story he's writing. I don't know much about the stry itself, but the picture was fun to do. (This dates back to September 03, I believe.)

- It's a cartoon so it's meant to be slightly out of proportion. Cartoon's are always drawn how the artist see's it inside their imagination. So if you say the hair is too long for example then you are saying the artist is wrong. I personally like and feel that there is nothing wrong with it. 6/5 =]

- It's a nice drawing, the color looks just right and the background looks nice, but I agree with verity about the face and ear, also the forward leg looks a bit off, where the upper and lower sections meet, behind the knee, seems a bit too small. But other than those small points it's an over all good piece.

try and talk about exactly what you like about the
picture; is it the hair? the eyes? the
background?
if you are critiquing, start with
something you like about the picture, then mention
specifically what you don't like. (eg. the hair is
