- They could be watercolor pencils, which are essentially paint, but pencils. I think you can even use water with normal colored pencils, it just won't work as well.

- I love how you did this. I can't tell if it's colored pencil, or paint! That's a good thing (in a sense). I'm a colored pencil fan.
