• As everything slowly fades
    The bright summer glade
    Slowly diminishes
    All beauty
    A single figure sits
    In the last corner lit
    by the golden burning light
    In the field.
    That single figure's
    Shadow grows slowly bigger
    As the light stretches further
    and slowly disappears.
In the setting sun the figures hair
    hovers lowly in the air.
    Tight skinny jeans
    Coat their legs
As they collapse on the bouncy grass
    Flattening it with their mass
    Relaxing their thoughts
    Through natures freshly born
    All anyone else can see
    Its yet another troublesome teen
But as they lay their head down upon their knee
You know that they've finally found out.
Love isn't all it's cracked up to be.
