• Her eyes appear like the faint shine
off of a moonlit lake. They shimmer
as she looks at me with shame and
    revolt.
I missed her. I yearned for her. I can't believe
I gave her up, what a fool I am.
She missed me as well; probably more than I
    would've expected. As she
smiled and flashed her perfect smile, I was
fully aware of the time that
we were separated, only made us stronger.
I love her. She loves me.
I can't believe I interrupted that flow of simplicity.
She runs to me, as I stand, eyes far
off, trying to figure was she a dream; was she real?
Ar the slightest touch from her and
    I squeezed her closer.
She was my drug- and I was long overdue for
    a sample. I embraced her
hug. I squeezed her tighter, and kissed the top of her head.
She had felt as I had truly remembered,
    simply intoxicating.........
She looks up at me, her big brown eyes
reassuring that she was all mine.
She leaned in to kiss me, I leaned for her lips.
And at that slightest touch, she vanished, and
my heart began to bleed again.
