• I clapped during my friend's show with her amazing voice, everyone clapped right
before me,even her friends are just right beside me beside, with my friends too, all stopped and the next contestant came up to the stage, all dark and we all couldn't hear the person say anything yet.

"You were great out there, oh, someone's singing" her friends mumbling to her in whispers,
"Oh.... calming and soothing~ in my arms~ you sleep~" I couldn't stop staring at her,
listening, lights turning on slowly and there she was... holding a guitar singing on a long stool, she's a country singer!

After the show, me and my friends were the last ones out, talking about how great my friend's singing was, but i still don't know the other girl who sang, but alas, i may not
even kno- "Hey, did you see me up there?" she talked to my singing friend, i asked
who she was, "Oh my, she's my singing buddy, we practiced in the forks" she held up
her hand towards me, we shook eachother's hands.

We started hanging out after a week, and she told me to stop being mean to people,
"can you please don't judge people for once?" she started doing puppy eyes at me, i scratched my head head and looked away "Uhm... why?" and she walked away, and came back with a comic book "read this and you'll... understand."

I had read overnight, and didn't know it'd take long just to read this, I just noticed how much I reread some quotes on the book 'It's not what you won that matters, it's what you lost'
and it made a whole lot of sense just from remembering from my past experiences,
I had won in an eating competition, but i lost my 'girl' friends in disgust, but I still had guys in my side, I regained the trust with them again.

"That was a nice book, i learned alot" she took the book slowly "So you did, well you done goo-" her friend poked her head "Where's my textbook?" so they walked away and I stood alone, later afterschool I hung out with my friends, just the four of us were walking on a back alley.

"Hey, did you watch the new halo legends movie?" as they talked about things, I looked at the side and saw a girl getting robbed "Hey, don't look buddy, it's not our problem"
as I walked away, seconds later I ran back and pulled the thief down, suplex style, and punched the bageebers out of him, my friends were all "Woah.." as I look back, she
was there, frightened, and I hugged her and said "If it wasn't for the book you gave me, I wouldn't have done anything like that"

    We started dating.
