• Today was hot, something I disliked very much. My hair was too long to have out. I’m forced to put it into a pony tail. With my side bangs covering one of my sky blue eyes. I hid under one of the many big green trees in the school yard. I loved the green color trees. I love all nature, it makes me warm. As I was drawing my attention get pulled away to something that was less than the scum on my converse. They walked slowly as they yelled hate words at me. I sighed as they kept coming closer. I got up and began to walk away. Today, unlike other days there were only three: one girl who dressed to get boy’s attention and two boys, one boy whose name to me was unknown and the other, Dustin. I pushed passed them, not wanting to fight today. But I was seized and slammed against one of the gates, not caching the too distracted teacher on duty. I felt a cherry red blush fly across my pale face. “Aw, she scared,” the bimbo to my right stated, but she was wrong. I was madder than my dad when the Mets lost a game against the Yankees. Dustin’s hold on me was implacable. It felt as if acid was burning through my skin. Laughter filled the air.

My head fell, knowing there’s no end to them. They jeered me, but it didn’t bother me. I just looked at Dustin’s very green eyes. This made me smile. Is it stupid to like your enemy? The pain in my shoulders became unbearable. I pushed up, putting one foot behind one of Dustin’s and pushed forward. This made him fall but not alone, I followed him. The girl gasped and ran, freaking out. People gathered around as punches were exchanged from both sides of the fight. As Dustin’s fist made contact with my face, mine made contact with his jaw, causing his face to go up and cutting his lip. We rolled around on the floor as if we were hungry animals fighting for the last piece of food. My new black tutu and fishnet stockings getting ripped and his white shirt turning black. Most people around us cheered for the very cute boy fighting me. Others yelled that I was a only a girl. But he, not caring kept throwing punches and I returned the warm welcome.

He was on top. His arm went out and his fist came close to my face. I moved my head to the side, making his hand miss my face and meet the concrete floor. A big sound and him lashing out in pain. Taking the opportunity to push him over. Me, now, for the first time in the fight, I was on top pinning his hands over his head to see what tumultuous mess I was leaving on his face. A black eye and busted lip. I was positive I was worse, I felt it. I looked into his very green eyes once more. Not either of us moved. My long black hair fell over both of us, blocking out the now very silent world. I smirked and a smile played around his perfectly shaped lips. He moved a little, making my grip tighten. My legs on both sides of him now sitting on him. One of his legs was pushed up and the other dead on the floor. “What going on!!” My face moved up as well as his. Now the teacher came close. “Don’t you two move.” I looked back at Dustin and he looked back at me. The gaze seemed to last forever. My hair again covering us from the others. My face came dangerously close to his. Our lips only inches away. I could feel his heart going wild like a lion going after his prey. “Maybe next time, loser.” The words escaped my mouth now revealing the hidden girl -in love- inside of me. I got up and wiped the blood off my mouth.
