• She stood there rooted to the spot.
"It wasn't that hard." He gloated. "All I had to do was get you apart from them." He chuckled then sighed darkly. "I don't understand. We had a future. Then you just go and blow me off? What happened? why would you do that to me?"
    He grabbed her throat.
    "WHY!?!" He shouted.
She couldn't answer. She couldn't breathe.
With his other hand he ripped the locket from her neck, snapping the chain. She could feel her face turning blue.
"Why?" He asked his voice now soft.
Her two hands clawed at his one as dark spots began blooming across Her vision.
He laughed. "I like your pain." He chuckled. "It makes you see what these past two years have been like for me."
He laughed again, louder ever louder, growing more hysterical.
She sacrificed what little air was left in her burning lugs to shout, "Let me go!"
    He just held tighter.

The screams woke me up. "Chandra!!" I scrambled out of my bed and went to hers. I knew what I would see before I saw it.
She'd had this nightmare enough times now i knew what was wrong.
Her long blond hair was a tangled mass and some strands sticking to her sweaty forehead. her eyes were clamped shut and her hands clawed her her throat. She tossed and writhed.
"Chan." I said softly. My heart filled with pity and sadness at the sight of my sister in such pain.
    I shook her."Chan wake up."
    She screamed again.
    "Chandra!"

He pulled the knife back for a third time.
    "Chandra!"
She knew that voice. the voice that meant this torture was almost over. That her sisters were almost there.
    "save me..." she murmured weakly.
    He laughed.
"Their going to ditch you one of these days. One day Edrea wont be there to save you. And I just can't wait for that lovely day."
    CHANDRA!!

Relief washed through me as her eyes snapped open, Her body shaking with her heavy panting. She sat up, and closed her eyes sobs now shaking her. I simply sat next to her wrapped my arms around her shoulders and comforted her. I stroked her hair and silently let her cry.
