• There once was a chicken, his name was Bobus. He lived Nunavut, in a hole in the snow. Bobus loved the snow.

One day Bobus woke up to the sound of voices. Humans! Bobus quickly got up out of his snow hole, hoping to sneek away unnoticed. Sadly, that was not the case.

He was scooped up by two fat arms. Bobus squaked and tried to get away with no avail. The young girl held on tight.

" Mom! Look a chicken!" The little girl screamed, turning to her mom.

The girl's mother looked up. " my gosh! A chicken!" Her mother ran over to Bobus.

" What do you think a chicken is doing here?" The girl asked her mother. Her mother shook her head.

" I have know idea, but it looks cold. Lets bring it home." The little girl smiled, nodding her head.

    " OK!"

Bobus cried out, trying to get away. He wasn't cold, he was fine where he was. He didn't like humans one bit!

The two of them walked back to their house. When they got home, the mom whispered something into the girl's ear. " We should eat him for dinner! He looks tasty!"

The girl looked shocked at first before nodding her head sadly. They were poor, and needed food. This was a perfect opportunity.

The mom gave the chicken to her daughter to hold, going to get a knife from the knife holder.
The girl set Bobus down on the counter. Bobus squirmed realizing what was to come. Her mother took the knife, bringing it down onto the chickens head. Bobus let out a skreech, before falling limp. Blood running from his neck.

The girl became to cry, her mother pulled her into a warm hug. "shhh... It's ok. It's going to an even better. life now."

The young girl nodded showing a small smile.

    Dinner was yummy that night.

    The End.
