• Chapter 1: Winter Comes Early
Her voice was chilling. Her touch shot icicles in your skin.
"Westley!" My horrible math teacher, Ms. Shu screamed at me. I instantly snapped back to the real world. "Would you care to tell us the answer to this equation?" She said coldly.
"Twelve." I said not even looking at the equation. She simply shot her famous 'I hate you because you're right' look. I zoned out for about another 20 minutes when there was a knock at the door. A tall, skinny girl entered the room. She had white hair with black tips, and was wearing a leather jacket and tattered jeans.
"You must be the new student... Hmm... This can't be right. My roster says your name is Ice." Shu said. Ice looked like she was trying hard not to rip Shu's head off.
"Yes. That's my name." She replied through clenched teeth. Just then the bell rang for lunch. I was getting my stuff together and about to leave when Shu interrupted me. "Westley, would you be so kind as to show this girl around the campus?" She said trying to sound like she didn't hate my guts.
"Uh yeah. Sure." I said as Shu steered Ice toward me. "Hey I'm Westley." I said introducing myself.
"Ice." She said shaking my hand. A chill went up my spine. I ignored it and gave her a tour around the school. She and I had all the same classes, so I told her just to follow me. After luch was my, excuse me, our last class: English.
