The lights flashed on and off in the club as I walked in. The air was thick and smelled oddly of sex. I looked around the surroundings but what my eyes fell on was nothing short of amazing.
I kept eye contact with him as I made my way to the dance floor.
When I stepped into the middle of the floor, I started to dance. He kept his eyes on me as I danced ever so slowly. He pushed his long blond hair behind his ear and and got up off the wall.
I smiled as I saw him coming and kept on dancing, swaying my hips to the music. Left right left right, I thought in my head, I wasn’t the greatest of dancers but I caught he attention.
He made his way over to me and started to dance along with the music. I felt the heat of his body on my back and the emotions that he was playing as I played my game. I finally looked up at his dark angelic face, to be surprised to find that his impossible blue eyes stared back at me.
I turned around and placed my hand on his chest pulling myself close to him so that we were moving along with each other. I kept eye contact as I nodded my head towards the door.
His lips went into a sly half smile as he stepped back and held out his hand in a gentlemanly gesture.
I took up the offer and walked in front of him with his hand in mine.

When we got into the back of the club he leaned up against the wall. “Rayne Osaki I presume?” He whispered in a smooth French tone.

A shudder ran down my spine as I stared at him. “Come Nathaniel, we both know why I am here.” I whispered as I walked closer to him.

He smiled a half smiled and moved so fast that my head started to spin; he was now behind me pulling up my hair and pressing his lips lightly against my ear.. “Ma chérie wouldn’t it be that you have just come on a whim and not business?”

I moved quickly from his grasp and held my cross in front of me, using it as an excuse to steady myself. “Don’t play games with me.” I hissed. “I need the info on the murders.” I added, quickly changing the subject.

He looked at me with his puppy dog eyes then held out his hand; in it was a small picture. “He was a vampire in my court, I had rule over him until he committed what is never to be committed amongst us of the night.”

    I raised an eye brow.

“A killing Ma chérie, the vampires of Damious do not kill any living being when we are trying to feed. Especially those of the unwilling,” he took a breath. “All of the blood donors that we use are willing.” He added at last.

I nodded touching my chin with my index finger. “Do you know his name?" I asked.

He turned those irresistible blue eyes on me. “Damion,” He answered in a heavy lasting tone.

I nodded. “Thank you.” I whispered turning around.

I said nothing more as I walked away, but I could feel his eyes burning into my back as I walked. I didn't want to look at his beautiful face but I have the uncontrolable urge to.

As I looked back he wasn't there, but when the wind blew past me I could smell the smell sweeter then any cookie.
