• I stared down to the end of the sparkling grassy garden. The images of my childhood filled my mind. I felt as though somebody had pushed me in the chest, jerking me back in time. The grass seemed greener and the glass was in it's place, furthermore, the house had been restored to it's beautiful old self. I looked around and saw Helena. Helena, with her beautifully straight licquorice black hair tumbling far past her shoulders. Joan was there too, the round glasses which she hated positioned delicately on her nose. Kate ran over to me and took my hand. I realised that I was suddenly a girl of ten. My white hair braided into two long pigtails.
"c'mon Frankie!" Kate giggled, we ran with the others. We ran past the edge of the perfectly kept garden into the strange countryside. We eventually reached the old pond in which we had spent most of our summers. I looked up at Helena, the eldest of us sisters. She produced a knife from the vast petticoats that she wore. Grinning, she took my arm and made a small cut in it. She did the same to the other sisters. Then we bled together, letting our blood run into the pond.
"this is our sister pledge pond, we will always meet here." Helena smiled. We all talked until I felt a sharp pain in my back and I fell into the water. The darkness began to grow around me. I felt Helena's slender gentle hands pulling me out of the icy water. When I surfaced, Andrew's sharp eyes were glaring down at me. I knew that he had pushed me. With tears in my eyes, I ran down the hills and into the forest. When I realised that I was lost, I stopped. Nobody had followed me. I sat down and started to cry. Suddenly, I felt a gentle hand on my shoulder, when I looked up, stood before me was a young boy whom I recognised as our gardiner. He was only thirteen but he still worked.
"I can't believe that you're lost!" He laughed, I grinned and he led me out of the wilderness and back to the edge of the forest.
"I have to go, sorry." He said anxiously. As I left, I looked into his eyes. There was something strange about them. They were yellow. He had cats eyes.

I blinked and realised the whole thing had been a memory. The shattered glass and burnt wreck proved this. I started to feel that I wasn't alone, I turned around and noticed that the gardiner was behind me. Only to me, he was no longer the gardiner, he was Jack, my fiance.
"I heard about the fire." He said.
"It's awful, I kniw." I replied. He put him arms around me as I sobbed bitterly. Then, I noticed something as I cried into his chest. The greenhouse was wet. It wasn't raining, no firemen had come to put out the fire and I knew it wasn't condensation. Something was amiss. I knew that it was down to me to find out the mystery of the suspicious greenhouse.
