• BANG! BOOM! CRASH! swoosh-BAM! Everywhere around me, I could hear the sound of explosions, never ending. It seemmed, every time one bang ended, another boom rang out through the whole meadow that was being masicured. Let me tell you something. I, Draci vonican, am 21 years old and I have never given any thought to what I would be like when i'm 30, 40, or even just 25. And now, after all of the things I have seen, done, and be a part of... this was one for the records. I have died once, as you may already know, and i have my still open wounds to prove it. This battle stood out from the rest, my adversary was a one-of-a-kind and long-hated dictator that wants all of my kind of people dead. Being able to control electricity, light, and darkness sometimes makes me fell invincable. When I have my friends around me, pounding the enemy with their curtain elements, I felt even safer. It's as if nothing can even touch me at that point. I am the one absolutly tearing my way through anyone that stands in my way (literaly). But I still learn new things all the time...never get cocky. I had my chance, I had it being sqeezed by my own hand, I was even stairing down the opportunity and yet it still slipped away. Gone because I, the one who as seen everything and learned most of it through trial and error, was fooled be a simple misunderstanding. A simple frickin understatment. The cost to such a thing in the heat of this battle was the loss of my own eye-sight by accident. Before this, I was nuts, i was having too much fun with this fight and we were winning tremenduosly. Zapping hundreds of people in one swing, detonating my hand made charges with a 'shocking' boom, and even creating a magnetic field to mess up their guns and bullets. Oh yes, it was fun. But at the last second, when I saw that after everything we had done, they still had one weapon up their sleeve that we couldn't take on, I had made an atemt to save my friends lives in our half-hearted retreat. My sword, I call it the svengali, has a diamond blade with carbon-steel in the center (to cunduct eletricity). I held it up like a thin shield as the enemy fired some kind of laser beam that I couldn't identify. It hit the diamond and reflected around inside and was consentrated on my head. I realized this as I looked up to make sure I had the sword lined-up right. My eyes were exposed to the light and thus...burnt to a crisp. I still have the scar of what the light burnt-from ear to ear in a thin little fricken line- across my face.

...If i had known that they had their leader enhanced beyond my own capablitities... I would never have brought us there in that meadow and we would have never had to retreat causing my to act in panic and not realize what I did wrong until it was too late... trial and error has tought me again.
