• PART 4

Nate was sat leaning against a tree. It was dark, very dark. He could only just make out a couple of the trees in front of him. Why did he even think about coming here? Stupid. He should of stayed on the roads where there was light from street lamps…Mind you, he would have been easier to find. He had stole into the national trust woodland and walked along the path that weaved through the woods, but then as it had got darker, he had obviously walked off the track and now here he was. He would find the path it in the morning, get out, and go to the train station. He closed his eyes and leaned against the rough prickly bark of the tree. It was cold so he had taken out his extra hoodie and wrapped it round himself. Suddenly, he herd a loud crack of heavy boots on brittle twigs and leaves, his eyes shot open – not that they were much good in this darkness – and looked around. Just trees everywhere. CRUNCH, CRUNCH, CRUNCH. Someone was walking towards him, he saw the light from a torch over to his right, and a slight flare of hope made him think that it was maybe the park keeper coming to offer him a place to stay for the night. But that was stupid. As if. He stared at the torch light and was so focused on it that he jumped out of his skin when a hand suddenly clamped down on his left shoulder and he would of cried out if it wasn't for the hand that clamped hard over his mouth. Suddenly, an arm came under his and lifted him up, someone quickly put a gag over his mouth and a cloth under his nose, he tried to scream again, but it was only muffled by the gag. He then smelt something sweet, almost sickly sweet, coming from the cloth. Nate inhailed the sweet scent and for some reason, his eyes seemed to slide close by themselves. now all his thoughts were foggy, and within seconds, he was out like a light.
