Artemis was a well-known Greek Goddess of the hunt, moon, childbirth and wild places. Daughter to Zeus and the Titan Leto she and her twin brother Apollo rules the heavens together, he the Sun, she the Moon.
This is my interpretation of my favorite Goddess; the stag body and horns represent the wild, her bow the hunt, and silver accessories and colour for the moon. - Date: 05/28/2009
