- Description: The Inu no Taisho (dog general) was a demon of the highest caliber. He was the lord of the western lands during his time and fathered two sons - Inuyasha a half-demon and Sesshoumaru a full demon. He lost his life after being severely wounded by Ryukotsusei and fighting to the death with Takemaru. The latter was to save the life of his lover Izayoi and his son Inuyasha.
