Description:
An assignment from school had us use or make up a phone number and write a poem using that number of syllables for each line. I used my grandfathers old house phone, wrote this a year after he passed away and the house was empty for the first time in 76 years.
I ended up working and rhyming as a poem on its own too so here's both versions - Date: 04/06/2017
