I'm never even glancing at a community forum on fanfiction.net ever again.
*shudders*
The large amounts of ridiculous ship arguments are EVERYWHERE! Worst of all, they're always either the "Who's better for...." or the "What's the best ship?" arguments. Ya know, the types of arguments where everything is quickly blown to completely fierce (and, frankly, very frightening) proportions.
*sigh*
Afterwards, people will go into the whole "blablabla is sooooo canon so therefore they're better" thing.
I don't get this canon obsession. It's fan fiction, lighten up! Who gives a damn about what you support? As long as you're a good writer, I fail to see why it's so important if you're writing something like AUs. Yes people, it is possible to write fan fics where the ship is "crack" but the characters are IC.
What ship you support shouldn't matter! (It's OK to laugh loudly and cruelly if the ship pulls a Harmonian on everyone though)
