I'm on a movie high 8D Just watched Little Mermaid and as I type this the DVD menu is looping over and over and it's getting rather annoying...lemme just...turn it off...there we go.
Anyways, I'm sure a lot of you know that The LIttle Mermaid was the rebirth in Disney animation. The animation that came out before it was The Great Mouse Detective 0.o Anyways, have you noticed Disney's downfall in animated movies? The only ones they're making now are either computer-animated (the only ones I know of that aren't Pixar are Dinosaur, Chicken Little, and The Wild, all of which were terrible) or sequels of old Disney movies...or (please don't scream) even threequels.
Watching the previews on the Little Mermaid DVD, I discovered that they're coming out with a Little Mermaid 3, Sleeping Beauty 3 (I didn't even know that they made a 2nd one), Beauty and the Beast 3 (I thought they already made twelve of those), and Cinderella 3. I'd say that Pixar is Disney's only hope left in animation, but it seems that Pixar is breaking off from Disney now. So, they're only hope left is nothing--well, except Kingdom Hearts.
Sad, really. Disney could never make their own video games. They had to go crying to the Japanese so they could make them a decent one.
So...I went from Little Mermaid to Kingdom Hearts? That's a topic shift, but understandable. I once went from Poptarts to scented candles within five minutes.
