I went to San Antonio with my mom this weekend. We had a great time. We'd been inside the Alamo before, so we just walked around outside it when we got there Saturday evening. The weather was pretty pleasant for Texas in the summer.
Sunday morning we took one of the boat tours along the Riverwalk. It was beautiful. I highly recommend it if you go. After that we walked around the spanish marketplace. I bought mom a clay nativity for her souvinir and myself a skeleton. >_< It's cute! (Yeah, I have weird taste in stuff.) I also bought a black lace shawl and an off-white one. They are most lovely! The black one will look great with the tango dress I ordered from Victoria's Secret. (Oy, I'm gonna have to get rid of 4 things to justify it!)
I'm considering a trip to Buenos Aires with Tango Tours in November. I'm paranoid to say that I've decided definitely, because it's near impossible to be definite with my job the way it is. Anyway, I'm not buying the tickets until August to be a little more sure about things. But if I do get to go, won't that be exciting to learn how to tango in Argentina?! If it is as fun as it sounds, I will never buy a house, but live in my Airstream and go every friggin' year for my birthday! Hahahaha!
