Grrr! I looked at all the community colleges in the area and not one has a class that I can take with my current work schedule. The coolness of not having to go into work until 2pm (1pm on Tuesdays and Thursdays) is wearing thin with this new development. I can't take Maya, foreign languages, or dance.
Now I do have enough Maya books with tutorials that I could teach myself if I REALLY wanted to. There are only two problems with this: I suck at learning from a book without a teacher and I am lazy.
Likewise with foreign languages. I have tapes for Japanese, German, Italian, Hebrew, Spanish and French. Yet without the accountability of a class, I'm not really likely to get too far too fast. I have been listening to the Spanish tapes at work off and on. It's just too important to know in Texas.
The real problem and the most upsetting is the dance class. I looked into all the dance studios in Dallas that I could find online and narrowed it down to five that actually taught latin dances. Unfortunately they all are evening classes. I'm screwed. I really wanted to do this.
I was hoping when I went to Dance For The Planet, a big outdoor dance festival, that I might find some studio or lead to somewhere or someone I might contact about another option. Dance For The Planet was rained out. Both days. See ya next year... *cries*
I know there aren't many people that even read this, but if you do and you know of any alternative or someone that might be able to give me a lead in the right direction, please leave me a note. I want to dance so much.
Well, haven't done much work on the website. I did get a new shopping link to dancestore.com. I also added Eileen's bio in the character art section and fanart of Schatz.
I love dancing.
