My second entry. Finding something to write about never comes easy. To think that so many people have struggled with the dreadful disease, "writer's block".. Its a tragedy really. i suppose i could just continue from where i left off in my last entry. Talking about myself. I figure it would be safe to get more into who i am outside of Gaia, given I'm not too personal. As i slightly mentioned previously, i do live in the south, Tennessee to be vague. All my life i have known small town and simplicity living at its finest. To be born in it and live it since then is to find it very bland and uneventful. But to know it from a newcomer's point of view, is to see the beauty in every picturesque sunrise and sunset, the countless stars in a perfectly lit sky, not polluted by outside light sources, the forever mountains that line the horizon. There is something truly captivating about it all. Not only that, but people's attitudes are kinder and friendlier than anywhere else, giving true definition to the term "southern hospitality". After high school, i went to college in Blairsville, PA. A tiny town with its own nuclear reactor, much light something out of The Simpsons. It was a technical school where i learned how to paint cars and weld, things like that. I always loved cars and working on them. Personally, i own a 1974 Ford Maverick, which i plan to make a dream car out of. It truly is a piece of work. I absolutely fell in love the first time i saw it on the side of the road at a dealership. My first car for my 16th birthday. It was a death trap on wheels and it was all mine. The brakes didn't work hardly at all, you could barely steer it and it was tail happy. Perfection. I've Fixed almost all the immediate driving hazards now of course. now I am in the process of buying a 1984 Toyota Celica GT-S. I also love older model japanese cars. I think the 1971 Celica and the maverick have a lot in common, thus the reason i find them so attractive. My plans for it are very simple. i want it to last a very long time so I feel its only necessary to restore it to original condition with a few modern exceptions. I want it to feel like new by today's standards while still keeping its class and dignity. All this being said, I think you can see where my other interests lie. Cars. With a capitol "k". For kustom. The more personal, the better. A car should have your soul embedded in it. This goes for anything you make, or so i believe. I think the samurai had something when they said their swords contained their soul in them. Once again, i digress. Its ok though. I like where this entry went. I think that is good enough for now. Until next time.
