Late one night, you find yourself restless but tired as you stare blankly at your ceiling. For a good hour now the only things you had been hearing were the sounds of the wind and occasional creature of the night. Closing your eyes, you decide to listen to those noises as a form of 'white noise' to help you sleep. But it fails, especially as a new sound emits. It sounded like muffled footsteps but you ignore it, figuring it was just your imagination. But your imagination must be pretty wild if said footsteps continue and get louder as a dark figure approaches your bed. Could it be your parents? Or even worse, a thief? Peeking an eye open, you can see the figure but you can't make out who it is. You then open both eyes in attempt to figure out who it is. So you are awake. A quiet but smooth voice whispers. Wait. You know that voice. You sit up quickly and open your mouth to say something but the figure closes in on your quicker than you can react and places a hand over your mouth. Shh. Don't scream. Like you were going to. You nod and he removes his hand. Turning to look at him, you can see this bedroom intruder a lot better now that he stands in the moonlight. Who was this stranger? Xanxus. A bit odd for him to be popping up in people's rooms but you don't dare to question it, knowing of the male's short temper. This is for you. He says, still speaking quietly as he sets a little blue box with yellow ribbon on your lap. Attached to it is a small note. Looking down at it, you pick it up then turn to look at Xanxus but he's gone. Back to the gift, you open it, finding a piece of pecan pie. A smile tugs at your lips as you open up the note. It reads;
I can't really cook. So I left that to Lussuria. Don't think too much of this gift. But I have to admit, I like you more than most.
