Entry #24: Just The Usual...

Today is 10/13/2010... It is 9:09pm... And I am now watching my cat play soccer o.O It’s very amusing actually! lol
I didn’t really want to go to school on Monday xp Mainly cuz the weekend before was the LAST band-free weekend I get until the end of November! gonk Every Saturday for six weeks will have an ALL DAY band tournament! Yeah, marching band really does keep ya busy... sweatdrop
Anyways, back to Monday... Nuttin’ really special happened in the morning. Just the usual wake up time, the usual rushing to get ready, and the usual bus ride to school. I brought a bag of marshmallows with me this day! Why would I bring that, you ask? Well, They’re sweet and fluffy! What’s not to love about that? 4laugh
Guess what? For the first time this year, I got something lower than a 100% in a math test! I got a 99%! eek FFFFFFUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU—DGE POPSICLE! rofl
Oh yeah, we have a homecoming dance at my school coming up on the 23rd of this month! And, just in case you’re wondering... no, I am not going to Homecoming. There are two main reasons, One: Dances aren’t really my thing & Two: It’s on the day of a band tournament xp Anyways, one girl in my Filipino class (her name is Kristen) was going to ask this other guy out to Homecoming! We were performing skits in Filipino this day and she was going to ask him while performing her skit with her group of friends. This is what happened: in the skit, Kristen was hugging one of her friends. She turned around and on the back of her shirt was the guy’s name and piece of paper that said “Homecoming?” We all looked at the guy, waiting for him to answer. But the dude was oblivious! He wasn’t even looking at her! -facepalm- Well, once he finally noticed, he said yes and the entire class went “Awwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww...” heart heart heart
Nothing much else happened that day. Just the usual craziness at lunch (we threw marshmallows at each other! xd ), march our drill in band, then prepare for the exam in APEC. Oh yeah, I also lost my glasses in the craziness of this day cry I haven’t told my mom yet... mainly cuz I know she will bite my head off if I do tell her... -shivers-
Then it was Tuesday. Morning was the same as Monday’s. Algebra bored me. Filipino was work, as usual. My friends and I threw more marshmallows at each other during lunch and we kept saying the word “derp” rofl . Band was more marching.
In APEC, I had an exam this day! AHHHHHHHHHH!!! I was so effin’ nervous! I currently have C+ in the class and I need at least a B to survive the wrath of my mom! crying The test was kinda difficult, as usual. What was my score, you ask? -shifty eyes- I’d rather not say, but I passed the test at least! Heheheheh... sweatdrop
Night rehearsal for band was pretty good! I had to borrow Tina’s jacket though, cuz I have been feeling a bit sick for the past few days and it was really cold that night. Oh yeah! I forgot to mention! For the last part of the final movement in our show, I gots to do something really important! But, SHHHHHHHHHH!!! I’m not telling ya yet! It’s gonna stay a secret! wink
Today, Wednesday, was supposed to be a late day, but most of the students at school had to take PSAT’s (Preliminary Scholastic Assessment Tests) this day... xp There were several parts to this test and each part was timed. I did rather well on the math sections, but I was taking a little too much time on the reading and writing sections... bleh, I ish slow... :p
After testing for nearly two hours, the rest of the students began arriving and we handed in our tests. There wasn’t much going on for the rest of school. Each period had been shortened cuz of the testing.
Flute rehearsal after school was just like usual. Some of us couldn’t make it tho sad We went over some marching basics. We also had to pick our secret pals for the week. (Secret pals work like secret Santas) Each week, we will get a secret pal and every Saturday, we would write a small letter to them and give it to them on the day of the tournament. I gots one of the freshmen as my buddie! ~♪
Once I got home, I didn’t do much besides a little homework and some napping cuz of my cold. Yeah, not a very exciting entry, but I had some free time today and I thought “Eh, what the heck. I’ll write up an entry.” It’s now 10:40pm nows and I’m not feeling very tired, but I’m running out of things to say in this entry. I guess this is bye-bye for nows! -hugs you all- Night-night! ~♪
