For My Guardian Angel. <33
It started out like any other story,
She was standing there,
With her friends,
Talking and laughing,
When he walked in through those doors,
And her life was changed,
Her life was changed forever...
That brown haired, brown eyed,
Gentle, loving soul,
Oh, but little did she know...
That at the start of it all
And as the years would go on,
She would see,
Oh would she see,
She had found someone...
Someone...
She had found someone
She could call her own,
Someone who she could
fight the whole world for,
She found someone
who could give her a reason to live,
And someone who could melt her heart,
[Oh, could this be true?]
Little did she know...
She had found someone,
Someone she could stand beside,
And resting in his arms, she could hide,
And when she would cry,
He could away her tears,
And all her fears would flee,
"When I'm with you,
and you with me..."
Little did she know,
She had found someone,
She could call her own,
Someone who could be,
Her Guardian Angel...
But it seems that the world
fights to keep them apart,
And now shes wondering if
her angel will stay by her side..
That brown haired, brown eyed,
Gentle, loving soul...
Oh how it kills her to let him go...
But she has to remind herself,
Those words that he spoke to her,
"If its meant to be,
it'll happen somehow, someway...
No need to worry my, darlin'...
I'll fly back to you one day...
And chase all your tears,
And all of your fears away..."
She walks around town,
Calling his name,
And tears spilling down her lonely face,
"Dear Guardian Angel,
Can this be the end?
Are you leaving me now
and never coming back?"
As the rain falls,
She turns left and right,
To look for a sign of her guardian angel,
But still nothing is in sightm
As she falls to her knees,
She closes her eyes,
Hoping its no more than dream...
She opens her eyes to the sunlight,
Shining on her skin...
And gone away has the fear of night,
And in front of her,
She sees the smile of her guardian angel...
