Phobias: The trait of being power hungry tends to come with the fear of losing power. The simple thought of not being in control sends shivers down his spine.
Talents: They don't call him the rising star for nothing. Even if he can be very unpleasant at times, there is no doubt that Desiderio excels at his music. He's also generally smart, but physical activities are a lost hope. If you were to somehow convince him to run a mile, you would soon find him collapsed on the ground, panting like a puppy. On another note, he does know how to shoot a gun for defensive reasons and has rather good aim. One more reason to be careful around him.
Personality: Desiderio is sly, manipulative, self-assured, selfish, and everything else that makes up a risky person to be around. He'd gladly sell your soul if it got something for him, and morals are laughable. The lesson is clear: don't trust Desiderio Devereux. Some people get it slower than others though, for he makes up for the constant air of "I'd gladly make you my puppet on strings" surrounding him with silky smooth words and a flawless reputation. More than enough people have walked away from a conversation with him, unable to wipe away the feeling that they've been insulted right under their noses.
Some manage to see past his casual words to see the underlying malice beneath them. Strangely enough, these people tend to become his friend to see that he really is human and not some demon inhabiting the body of one. He will do the occasional "good deed" for whatever reason and can be unexpectedly loyal to those he deems worthy. There are only glimpses of these traits, however, and rumors and jokes still fly about whether not he really is a demented ghost or not.
Bio: Although Desiderio seems like the perfect candidate for the pampered rich boy lifestyle, he was instead born in a small town in Ohio, barely holding it's spot on the map. Being the naturally ambitious kid he was, Desiderio aimed for the stars, making sure to stomp others on the way there. He was an intellectual one, but his real mastery was in, guess what, music. He was a prodigy from birth and made no show to hide it. Hours would be spent locked in his room, scribbling down eight notes and treble clefs in elegant penmanship. The sound of violins, flutes, and most often, the piano could be heard from the little house that was situated on Chalk Cove. Then came the day when thirteen year old Desiderio persuaded (or forced, some would say) his parents to send him to a boarding school in France, where the couple originally lived. The bags were packed, and the boy was off before goodbye cards could be sent.
There, Desiderio studied his regular education while continuing his talent. Needless to say, there was competition within the music-based school, and this brought out his truly devious side. Although he was sure of his own abilities, there as no harm in being safe. Desiderio had quite a joy of demolishing the other teenager's hopes and dreams, eerie smirk on all the way. Shouldn't be to hard to guess that he graduated top of his class. As for college, the basic routine went, except for one thing. He was finally recognized.
To make a long story short, Desiderio is now a semi-famous composer and musician, still floating to the stars. Whispers consist of how he must be the next Bach or Beethoven, and the much quieter ones that are scoffed upon consist of how he must be a demon. He lets them scatter, determined continue his job and passion in his apartment until he truly is the best out there. Then again, he would probably be willing to go on a little vacation to see some people that aren't so human.

Notes: Ooh, he was a tough one. Then again, I only got in one post. I'm sure that if I had more time, I could have developed him. He had a lot of potential lying in him. Oh, and Olivier from Zellen's world made a comeback and became Desiderio's agent. Quirky pair, the two of them.
