Personality: Leonato is a perfect example of the saying, "Don't judge a book by its cover." To those that are fooled, he's the prime example of the perfect gentleman. He generally comes off as charming, kind, polite, the last being the only one actually true. For those that really know him, which numbers at one including himself, he's manipulative, sly, and ready to do anything for himself. However, his loyalty is unquestioned, for the fact that he would never betray the captain is one the few things he can say out loud without lying.
Bio: Ah, frail little Leonato was born into one of the wealthy families that bragged about successes and showed off exotic creatures. He had no qualms about his life style, enjoying his every need being fulfilled. However, he was no fool and knew that staying in only one sort of lifestyle wasn't going to cut it. With some concern and irritation from his parent, he lived on a merchant ship at age eighteen. He was still pampered, but that soon changed.
One day, a pirate ship captured the much less battle experienced crew, stealing both its treasures and its members. Leo was one of those who was captured and was forced to become a lowly swab. It was definitely a culture change; that didn't mean he minded. Having learned a thing or two from living on his former ship and lessons on land, he showed off his knowledge of the sea and its routes to the captain one day. The former navigator wasn't exactly the best, and he was quickly booted off the boat to make room for their new navigator, Leo. He remains in that position to his day.

Notes: I had such high hopes for this guy, but no, people had to be abandoners. His posh yet elegant attitude and obsession with green tea was nice though. Oh, and he also had a pet cockatiel named Otto. Yes, I inserted my pet bird into Leonato's life.
