Call Me
I crouch in darkness without light,
I stumble arounf without my sight.
Silence resounding in my ears,
desperate screams no one hears.
Despair devouring a stone heart,
in solitude I still fall apart.
Darkness as black as can be,
wondering if I'll ever be free.
And as I fall and hit the floor,
I wonder why I get up anymore.
With a sigh I recall as I stand,
I'm waiting for him to take my hand.
So I'll keep moving as I wait,
choking down my crimson hate.
For he could be at the end of this dark place,
with a simple smile to make my heart race.
And he'll reach out his hand so I can see,
he'll whisper my name as he calls me.

We couldn’t imagine the emptiness of a creature who put a razor to her wrists and opened her veins, the emptiness and the calm.
