Disapate
Silently she endures hidden pain,
with lies shrouding eyes of rain.
Terrified to admit that she is in need,
instead she forces her wrists to bleed.
People around her she won't let know,
how far she's fallen but won't let go.
Instead she conceals herself inside a mask,
protecting the lies a stratigized task.
With so many phobias that cause her to shake,
made by the ones who wanted her to break.
She laughs and smiles like it was all pretend,
knowing the game in her mind will never end.
She knows that everyone always goes away,
how she can never find someone who will want to stay.
She's realized that she should be alone,
their words in her head solid as stone.
She remembers that sadistic secret she must hide,
no one she trust, so no one to confide.
She recalls their sweet tainted little lie,
how they told her to give up and die.
But oh, how she's tried so many a time,
she just thinks that it will only take time.
She wants to prove them all wrong,
that she won't falter but remain strong.
Yet she feels she is broken,
as she leaves words unspoken.
Words of longing, love, anger, and hate;
to bad they have all begun to disapate.

We couldn’t imagine the emptiness of a creature who put a razor to her wrists and opened her veins, the emptiness and the calm.
