TOBORT (The Online Book Of Random Things)
My my, the things we dream.
Well it's true what they say, "The time between our falling asleep and our waking is the time of our own world of insanity." In my case, each insane outing happens perhaps once every six months. At least, the memorable ones. This time though, this was the most exciting of my outings inside my mind (if that made any sense.) I typed it all down as soon as I woke, because I knew I'd forget it if I didn't.

So without further adieu, I give you the inner workings of my mind last night. AKA, an insane dream.

A new world (dream)

Funnily enough, this dream began as a slight comedy sendup (and highly disgusting at that in my mind) of American Pie. Or at least one of the characters. It didn't end up like that though, heavens no!

We begin with a hapless youth whom just can't seem to get any. He lived Inside the spacious (when I say spacious, I mean the ancient stone halls of some legendary descent. Yes, I know, high school students shouldn't have the privelledge to live in these halls, but bear with me here.) halls of a school for the fantastic. A few times a week, some rooms would somehow be turned on their sides, so that when someone entered, they'd be walking on the wall instead of the floor. This happened to our hero, whom was sleeping in an empty dorm, perhaps he was kicked out of his? Anyway, he had woken up to find the room was turned on its side. His bed and himself were still in place, and gravity still thought the floor was down, but the window showed he was indeed on his side. He hopped out of bed, thanking himself for pulling the covers so tightly around himself to sleep that night.

Considering he'd just had a disgusting dream (Yes, I saw it too. I was appalled. Lucky me, so was he) he rolled out of bed onto the wall and crawled for the mini fridge. He opened it and helped himself to some fruit inside. Once he had finished it, the room had, without his noticing, turned right side up. He exited the room and made his way to the central hall, passing some other people whom would make a later appearance in this dream. It was here he bumped into the female "villain" of the dream. Brown hair with a slight curl in it hung down to her shoulders, blue eyes blazing with contempt for the world. She was dressed in what seemed like a wizard's garb, dark blue robes hung around her body, her self seeming to move in a sweeping fashion, like she was floating. He notices and his heart flutters. Yup, this was the girl he had a crush on.

It's here things get really weird really quickly, mainly because there's a blank in the middle of the events.

From that hallway, the scene shifts to a more godly perspective of things, the birds eye view of an island, some preists and that girl in the garb are standing around two identical natural stone formations, both of which are sparkiling with a golden sparkle, as if they had been enchanted or blessed by these people. One of the preists seem to shout to me in the birds eye view.

"If we can't have this sacred place, then no-one will!"

Above the monuments a golden warp portal appeared, and out from it stepped a giant Willow (monster from Ragnarok...don't ask). Before my godly hands (reference to Black & White games) could crush the altar and the stones, the monster stopped my hand as it came down upon the first of the two boulders. As a God, I shouldn't feel this, however, that creature had a godly force of its own, being able to hold my hand down on the ground.

Another godly apparation came to help me out, his own hands now attempting to break down the altar, the creature swiping at our hands with its branches. The creature swiped again at the other god's hand, but this time, the god hand grabbed his branch, causing the creature to yelp in surprise. How a tree yelps, I have no idea. Then, the scene once again changes, but not so much. The other god and I become human, he still holding onto the willow's branch as it became smaller, 'til we were all about the same height. The other god had transformed into my brother, Ian, and I, the god, had transformed into me.

Ian now pulled the willow close, making it lose its balance, Ian grinning as he pulled and lay flat on his back, the willow looking as if it would topple on top of him. Ian put a leg up and hit it in the trunk, then threw it using his leg, into the opposite wall of this warehouse that had appeared around us. I looked to the entrance after the willow had audibly smacked into the wall, and saw that woman with the brown hair and blue eyes. She glared as Ian stood, a grin on his face at the feat he just pulled. She raised an arm and out from her sleeve flew a multicoloured seagull, flying around the inside of the warehouse attempting to peck at us. Then we heard the groan of the willow as it rose from its heap on the ground, taking a stance for another fight. The gull then split itself into two identical pairs, one landing on top of the willow, the other going for me. The one on the willow used its power (yes, just bear with me...) to increase the willow's strength, turning it's bark into a black colour, its red eyes all the more apparant now. It charged for Ian, but before I could leap in to help, I was assaulted by the other gull.

It swooped down on me and missed the first time. A big mistake, as I raised one leg off the ground, knee bent, foot ready to kick it out of the air. It swooped, my leg sprung out, making it avoid and try for another swoop. I was caught up in defending myself from this bird, but Ian seemed to be holding his ground fairly firmly. The woman retreated from the steel doors of the place and left us in darkness to fight these creatures. Somehow though, I managed to leap around the place, evading the birdy and finally capturing it inside a roll of parchment. Ian was holding fairly well against the willow/gull combo, but yelled to me to "Hurry and drown that thing! It drowns, then I can whoop this things arse! Go!"

Not one to argue, I leapt out of the warehouse, the doors bursting open upon my exit. There, to the right of me as I exited, parchment in hand, was a steep bank, and at the bottom was that ocean that surrounded this island. I jumped and skidded down the bank, landing nimbly at the bottom and throwing that parchment into the ocean. It writhed at the gull tried to escape, but it couldn't work its way out as it sank. Once the parchment was out of sight, I heard a metallic thud from the warehouse. Quickly, I climbed up the bank, however I stopped on the way to help some children about to slip down the side. (Yeah, random, but it took a mere few seconds. They also gave me a SimCard for some reason.) Back to the warehouse, where Ian had just finished off that deadly willow, I finally made my way as Ian came out dusting his hands. The girl wanted to retreat as we advanced on her. She held her arm out, expecting another gull to fly out. I shook my head at her. She raised her arms to summon another golden warp portal. Ian shook his head. She stood stock still as we stopped.

Her: "You're going to kill me, aren't you?"

Kieron: Why?

Her: Because...because I'm obviously not worthy as a goddess. I tried to go against you...both of you, to become a goddess. I even had followers who were willing to help me.

Ian: Not to mention you had a creature that we had to combat ourselves to defeat.

Kieron: And that's why we stopped you. Because you had far too much power. The power to topple the gods in a human's hands? No-one should have that power, you should know that as a former preistess.

Her: You...you know who...

Kieron: Yes.

Her: But...you accepted me as a disciple back then? Your holy hand accepted me?

Kieron: Yes.

Her: But, I have not the requirements to become a disciple of your faith! The preists thought so at the time too!

Kieron: You're not a freak of nature. On the contrary, you were, at that time, exactly the human I was looking for. I don't care for what lineage you have...

(At this point I should say that she had another kind of blood in her, one that no human should suffer to have in their streams. Problem is, I know she had that kind of blood, I just don't know which blood was mixed in. Some kind of creature/animal blood. It's a dream thing. Come to think of it, this is around where the dream ended, but I'm going to keep going because I'm running with this.)

Kieron:...I only care for what you have in your heart. Your intentions were pure.Your heart was pure. That's all I wanted in my disciples.

She had this look of shock and flooding relief on her face. She wasn't going to be punished by either of these gods, she realised as tears began to run down her face. Despite being so blasphemous, despite wanting to go against them, they forgave her.

See? Crazy, no? I even discussed it with my mother. She likes to interpret dreams, and so found mine interesting. Anyway, I'd like to hear what any and everyone else thinks of this dream. Perhaps your own interpretation? I'd love to hear your views!
