For once, this isn't a New Avi. It's just something that I'm annoyed about, and here is the only logical place to b***h about it.
When I started questing for my Verdant Jungle Pumps, I seem to recall them being at a little under 40k. Not bad at all. Then, they climed to 50k. Still doable, if getting a bit steeper. And suddenly OMGWTFBBQ 100k. I'm not paying a hundred thousand gold for a freakin' pair of shoes. I mean, really, who wants them that bad? There are other Pumps selling for a tenth of that! The last time I paid even close to that for something, it was my Elegant Veil, a rare collectible from almost three years ago!
I rebel! Hear me roar! I'm going to put about 45k, which is what I think they're worth, in the kitty for them, but beyond that, any gold I earn is going towards other, more reasonably-priced, items I want. Rawr.
