Evaria stared at the redhead. Wow he's hot! She blinked the shook her head. Not the time to be thinking that. She glanced at him again. That will be a defendant challenge.
She stood up and opened her mouth to say something but her kidnapper spoke first. “What the hell are you doing here traitor?” He scowled at the redhead and preceded to kill him with his eyes. Traitor? Then he's not friends with kidnapper man! Evaria felt relief. “No,” Evaria started and looked at the redhead. He turned to look at her his hard eyes stared at her, “I'm not your friend. So don't even think about it.” She shivered, Great one weirdo to the next. Evaria sighed, Why God must you make all the hot ones psycho?
“So if your not my friend then why are you here? Going to kidnap me to?” She snorted, “Wait in line buddy.” The redhead's eyes narrowed, “You seem to be very calm for a little girl who just saw some one appear out of thin air.”
“I'm not calm. I'm numb and in shock. Don't worry I'll start screaming later.”
“Hey!,” Evaria jumped she had forgotten about the other guy, “Don't ignore me! I'm right here!”
The napper was glaring at the red head, “I don't know how you knew but don't think I'll let you have her. She's mine!” The guy reached inside of his jacket and pulled out a sword. The sound of steel rang out loudly into the night. Evaria's jaw dropped and she stared, What the hell!? A sword!? What time period does this guy live in? The redhead laughed harshly, “You really don't think you can hurt me with that stick do you?” She looked at the blade, “Looks sharp to me.”
“Shut up girl and stay out of this,” the napper barked at her. Jerk! She leaned against the tree behind her, While these morons fight I'll escape. The redhead took a step forward, “I have things to do so I'll make your death a quick one.” The napper snorted, “As if a disgrace like you could do any thi-,” his sentence was abruptly cut off. Evaria blinked, What? The redhead was behind the napper.
The napper was standing still with his mouth opened. His sword slipped from his fingers to the ground. Then he slowly fell to his knees and then slumped over face down. Evaria stepped closer, “Hey,” blood started to pool beneath him staining the leaves. Evaria gasped and backed up, “Oh my God. Oh my God. Oh my God.”
“No matter how many times you say it he won't get up.” She looked up at the redhead but didn't see a weapon, What did he do?. He walked towards her stepping over the body of her would be napper. She whimpered and backed up but slipped and fell to the ground. The red head stopped in front of her and reached down for her. She screamed and slapped his hand away, “Don't touch me.”
He grabbed her arm, “Scream all you want but your still coming with me.” He yanked her up of the ground and threw her over his shoulder. Evaria screamed and beat her fists against his back, “NO! PUT ME DOWN!! HELP!!! ANYONE! SOMEONE!! MOM!!”
“Stop screaming its not like I killed the guy!” She stopped tears streamed down her face, “What?”
“I didn't kill him. I just have him a tiny smack on the head. He'll wake up with a headache and a large bump but he'll wake up.”
Evaria sniffed and wiped her face with her sleeve, “But I thought you said you killed him.”
“I didn't say I killed him you stupid girl. I just said that say what ever you want he won't wake up.”
She glared at the back of his head, “That is the most misleading sentence ever. Why the hell didn't you just say he's not dead idiot!”
“Thats a real nice way to talk to some one who just saved your life.”
“Saved my life!?” Evaria started to hit him again, “This is coming from a guy who said he isn't a friend, killed my kidnapper, and who is now kidnapping me!”
“Hey would you stop that and I didn't kill him!” He grabbed the back of her shirt and threw her to the ground. Evaria shrieked and jumped up, “What is with you!? Do you know how many times I've fallen to the ground just tonight! My butt has had enough! The lest you could have done was set me on my feet!”
“This is just a guess but I'm thinking that your not numb with shock anymore right?”
“Good guess moron. What gave it away the hitting or the screaming?”
“Defiantly the screaming.”
Evaria sighed loudly, “What do you freaks want from me anyway I'm just a normal girl.”
“No your not,” Evaria blinked and looked at the redhead. His blue eyes bored into hers, “You are the key.”
Evaria stared at him, “The only key I have is my house key.” The redhead's eye twitched, “Not that key! Your the key! You!” Evaria looked up and down at herself, “Nope defiantly human. You should get your eyes checked.” The redhead growled, “I'm not having this conversation. We have to go now.” He grabbed her arm again but this time her pulled her to him and hugged her close.
“What are you doing! ? Perv!” She squirmed and tried to push him away. “Stop moving!” He held his fist up in the air, “Gates of Beyond Open The Path Before Me.” Light came from his fist and Evaria stopped moving. Once again the air became heavy and electricity flickered around them.
“What the hell!? What are you doing!?” She yelled up at him. The redhead looked down at her, “Your destiny begins here.” The electricity closed around her and she felt a sharp pull then there was nothing.
