Here is an amazing story, for the same teacher ~

The one-way trip

I was sitting in the nice warmth of the car, we were speeding along the motorway and I had this strange upside-down feeling in my stomach. It was the first time that we ever went on a mountain expedition that lasted more than five days. I looked outside the foggy window and I saw the glittering fields of white snow. I looked back inside the car, next to me, Jamie was fast asleep, his dark brown hair, tumbling over his pale narrow face. In front of him, Brooke was driving, her percent green eyes heavy with sleep. Fred was sitting at the front passenger’s seat looking at a map. “There it is!” he said pointing at an old worn-out chalet.
On Monday the 8th of September 1978.

I woke up, the bitter cold snapping harshly at my face. Fred was already awake, heating up some tinned beans. “Morning” he grunted. I sat down and opened a packet of cereals and started eating slowly. When we finished we packed up and headed upwards. As we walked up through the thick layers of crunching white snow, the crisp wind striked our faces and our fingers became quickly numb. We reached a cave full of beautiful, long gleaming stalagmites. I couldn’t help myself staring at them. I was in a completely new world, full of magic and enchantments. Jamie, Brooke and Fred were standing beside me speechless. Fred’s worn out face was broken into a wonderful smile. “It’s… It’s…” He couldn’t seem to find the words to describe his feelings. “I know…” I said dreamily.
On Thursday the 11th of September 1978.

I don’t know how many days or hours we have been stuck here. I don’t have any more knowledge of time. All I know is that I will not be able to survive this. This will be the last thing I ever write. I’m stuck in some sort of grotto. Fred disappeared when we got caved in. I’ve never seen him since. Jamie and Brooke are very weak, I don’t know how long they will last. We keep telling each other that someone will come, someone will have realised that we haven’t come back. Hopefully we will stay alive long enough.
