Just a couple things I've noted.
1. Any effects or symptoms displayed during Halloween 2k4 are unimportant and irrelevent to the current situation. WHY! you may ask? LabTech123 (living, dead, or elfified) Perfected and changed the original G Virus shortly before H2k5. Hence the "Grombies" instead of Zombies.
2. The G Virus is actually more of a mutagen than a virus. A Virus kills living cells to replicate itself, usually serving little or no other function. The G Virus transforms rabbits into Grunnys changing the fur and eye color, a strange phenomenon. In humans it slowly changes the body into a more Grunny-like state ultimately attracting actual Grunnys which enter a parasitic-type life stage and use the human as a source of food and locomotion.
3. Grunnys could be made smarter if breeding and studying were done upon them. This was speculation by an ElfTech.
What does all this mean? 1 means any Old antidote would be useless should the new G Virus run rampant. The new stuff was one shot per person and hence people probably wont trade it. 2 means the properties of G Virus could be used to enhance any being in the right way or prep them for being a host to a parasitic lifeform. And Finally 3 holds true of any creature, be they Grunny, Dog, Cat, Horse, Unicorn, or YETI.
