While WPCs can survive in any environment, most preder literate areas. They have been known to invade threads containing literate ramblings. They seem drawn to comments about themselves and that explains why more then one often appears at once. They have also shown at such places as the towns bathroom and L0ckes house. They seem to find highly populated areas in towns.
To find a WPC the best approach would be to PM one and hope the news is passed on.
They are civilized, and prefer modern comforts such as automobiles, hotels, and toilets. Do not be fooled by their wild exterior, they are highly developed and intelligent creatures.
