Or at least, it probably will be by the time I post this. The celebration has already begun! I actually took the time to cook my own special apple-cinnamon fried chicken tonight, and it was pretty good. It's kind of a shame I didn't have any apples to go with it though. But, I had a half-bottle of Chardonnay with dinner and watched a movie with my mother (because I am just clever enough to know how to pour the wine into an inconspicuous container so that I can drink in front of her without anyone knowing). That was some good wine too. I drank it about three hours ago and I'm still buzzin'.
Anyway, I think this turned out to be a good way to celebrate. Originally my plans were just to stay up until 3am (around the time I was actually born) with nothing but a few pieces of pizza, two bottles of Guinness, and maybe an episode of NCIS on Hulu. This is much better.
I'm not sure what I'll do tomorrow morning, but after Mum gets off of work I'm going shopping with the $100 worth of gift cards my father gave me and then we're going to the Olive Garden. I have all of my job searching done for the next few days, and my college work isn't due until Thursday. So I'll probably spend the morning/afternoon (depending on when I wake up) sitting around reading and writing fanfics... because I love writing so very much.
