Ok, so I've been unable to modify my subscription to XBox live for about 6 weeks now. This wouldn't be a big deal, except that my subscription expired 6 weeks ago, so it auto-renewed on me, even though I bought a new subscription card. After about 400 calls to customer support, one of the maniacs at the help center told me to open my subscription and give her my new code, so that she could enter it for me. Shockingly, it didn't work, which rendered me unable to return the subscription I bought at the store. Last week, an operator told me to, inexplicably, wait another week, and then call back and they'd let me fax in my code and my receipt, and they'd cancel the charge. So today I called back, and they told me that whoever told me that was dead wrong, and that, all this time, it's my ISP's fault that I can't connect. Mother ********. Why didn't anyone tell me that 6 weeks ago? So I called my ISP. They told me that I'd have to pay more if I wanted to raise my upload cap. :XP: So unless one of my friends happens to have the uber connection that Xbox live apparently requires to connect to their billing server - which I didn't need a year ago, which none of my friends need, and which they themselves apparently lack because they were unable to get into my account either -, then I'll either have to pay $90 for a second subscription, or some random amount for a new modem because mine is all old. The only good thing is that someone from Xbox randomly called me this week and gave me a subscription code, so now I have, apparently, a free subscription on top of the two they've made me pay for. That's helpful. Anyone wanna buy an Xbox live subsciption?
