So apparently, despite the fact that I'm too stupid to figure out the crazy online application for work study, someone in the financial aid office decided that I'm worthy of work study. That's hilarious. I am very happy. I didn't think I would be accepted, which would have prevented me from working in the lab during school. However, now that the door is open, I'll hopefully be working in a lab until I'm done my undergrad. Hoho!! Devious.

I have two weeks off from the lab before school starts again, and I'm having an awesome break. I finally finished cleaning my room for good - it only took about a year to get it toally done. But now I've really gotten rid of almost all the crap, so that I only have things in my room that I actually care about. I still have reams and reams of old drawings and writing that I'll probably want to throw out eventually, but at least it's all stuffed semi-neatly into binders and folders now. Yay!

I read so many kickass books this summer, and I saw so many awesome movies. T'was a very story-filled summer. And now, finally, I've seen most of the movies that people have been recommending to me for years and years, and I put a pretty impressive dent into the pile of books that people have been demanding that I read. I'm really glad that I got so much movie watching and book reading done, because I think this semester of school - actually this whole year - is going to be a train wreck. I'm too stupid to quit the bakery, so I'll be working two jobs, and I've heard that molecular lab has the hardest writeups of any lab I'll take. I think I'm going to regret taking 2 6-hour labs this semester. gonk

In conclusion, life is good, but I think I'm going to die when school starts. However, I'll burn that bridge when I come to it. biggrin
