I just got my nifty new Silver Prince's Rapier, and I've got a lot of fantasy/magic items, so this is the natural result, given the full resources of tektek. I realize that the Red Diamond looks a little funny, but that's what gave me the idea in the first place, so I kept it. Otherwise, I just tried to go for your basic, old-timey fantasy look, a lá Middle-Earth (I felt obligated to include That Which Began It All, although Tolkien is really in a class by himself), Dragonlance, Wheel of Time, Tortall, or whatever your favorite epic (i.e. no guns or cars) fantasy series is.
