so... there's this bunch of people who collect fashion dolls that meet every month in pittsburgh. As most people know by now, i've semi-downsized my inventory, meaning i'm making doll costumes and clothing more than human-sized costumes anymore. so, i go attend, and they're a really awesome bunch of people.

could have done without the "cafe singer" at borders tho. *cringe* she sang folk songs about working at burger king, some scene in "the santa clause" movie, and her pet turtle.

no, seriously.

anyhoo, will definately be going back next month, if only for something to do and an excuse to go visit my friends. also got to re-meet someone i haven't seen since college who goes to said meetings, which was awesome. ^_^!

also makin' some new super-secret plushies for sale at tekko. i'm also introducing "Michispotting", a fun contest to see if anyone out there is actually paying attention.

Michispotting involves the obvious, find me at a con and either know my DA name or screen name here and mention my michispotting event to me, and win a free plushie. This also applies to anyone who knows me from DeviantArt or Ygallery as well.

mayyyybe something good, like a heartless or shaun of the dead doll, or mayyybe something cheap, like a paoupu or a schrodinger hand puppet. you never know, you just have to find me and find out. might even be something spectacularly awesome like an anderplant plush, or a custom ticket, which entitles you to one custom-made soft-sculpture or textile art of your choice of design (within my ability, i'm not gonna be making a realistic life-sized edward scissorhands out of mohair, felt and vinyl here, ya know. >_<! )

there's a VAGUE possibility i might make it to youmacon and/or anime usa as well, if i can find someone willing to share hotel space. this is a VEEEERY vague possibility, and also heavily relies on how much i manage to earn at the other working cons of the year, so please buy something if you see me in AA at Tekko and Matsuri. ^_^; If you see me at ohayo, i'm prolly on duty, but i'll still say hi and do "michispotting".
