The long forgotten lore of my life
When I feel like it I'll update with my thoughts, views, nonsensical ramblings or events. Just another look into my chaotic enough life. I never know what's going to happen.
The Teen night of... OMG, HIDE THE CRACK!
Saturday, November 22:

I'll explain why the hell I have that as my title in a little bit. Before I do anything that makes any clarifying spotlight on anything, let me tell you that I have no idea what went on last night. Really. Seriously. I mean... "what the hell"?

So, last night was Teen Night. Oh, god yes. I was doing Caramelldensen dances in my mind on the drive towards the Teen Night location. God, love that place. It's the only way I can see everyone in one location, at one time.

The whole day, from one in the afternoon till about six (when Teen Night starts), I got together with Michael and hung out with him all day. Holy crap, we had fun. We broke into the Megaman games. At first I tried playing it on horribly dying PS2 but, well, since then I had bought a PS3 (80 gig, backwards compatible and refurbished). What I had saved on any of the games he lent me went bye-bye. I can't switch over the PS2 Memory cards because the PS3 saves everything, via hardware, in it's computer. No Memory card slot, at all. I've got to say, I'm depressed with that. I was at the last boss for Digital Devil Saga 2... and now I have to start over. FROM THE BEGINNING. stressed

I digress. We played Megaman, Bloody Roar: Extreme, and even zOMG. I have to say, though, he did one funny thing that I wonder how my parents will react. For the PS3 screen, you can change the wallpaper on it or upload a picture for that. I had asked him to save a picture from Disgaea, featuring Dark Hero Axel/Akutare/Octally. I refer to him as Akutare, his Japanese name. Anyway, he got the picture, and uploaded it.

Now I can't control my laughter anytime I boot up my PS3 and see that wallpaper. My god, it's so funny and, at the same time, it's the best (if not sexy looking) picture of the flashy character. Yet, him showing off his bare chest, with star nips included. Can't say how anyone else is going to react, but I friggin' love it.

This is Akutare (the one with blond hair, not the gunner). Normal picture of him that someone drew. Rather sickeningly cute, huh? His Theme song? Course he has one. White Tiger. How badass, right? Right! You better believe it.

Teen Night! Jeeeebus! Damn, it was strange as hell. Minute I got in, I whipped out my new deck, the finally completed GLADIATOR BEAST DECK! Michael paired me up with my opponent, Lynx. Well, first round he did his own experimental deck, and then second round he did his main deck. Both rounds I beat- if not over killed him at one point. I am so proud of my beasts! I have to say, though. I'm finding a pattern, here. I have a Harpie deck, which may look feminine, but the harpies can be rather abusive and combined can kill anyone. As for my two beast decks, they are brutal. I seem to follow the pattern that, even though I'm a female player, it doesn't matter. The more deadly they are, I go for them.

While we were dueling, we had an older lady come in with a camera. I looked up, rather curious. That's rather....strange, I thought. Most of the time, the people who bring in cameras, are the actual teenagers themselves. Is something going on? It was a reporter for one of our local newspapers!! Man, that was a shock! I actually was thrilled. Poor Lynx, I think, doesn't like his picture taken. So, instead, she got pictures of me, Michael, and a few others who were playing and/or studying the cards around us. It also amazed me that she knew what we were playing, and could tick off a few cards.

The reason why the title is so... is because, at one point, when the lady sat down and announced that she was part of the press to take pictures and write an article, Michael turned to me and said, "Quick! Mandy, break out the crack". I smirked, mimicking that I was slapping the imaginary bag on the table. Holy crap, yeah, moments like that are pure gold, and BETTER than crack.

All I'll say is... now people will know that a severely Gothic twenty-year old, moi, plays Yu-gi-oh. And you know what? I don't care. xp In fact, I think it's awesome. I'm getting the biggest kick out of it.

Art-san was drawing me a picture. God, I swear, her art is mind blowing. If anyone has seen her stuff, I think they'd agree. She can take a piece of paper and turn it into a masterpiece using, surprisingly, only pencil and marker. She does wonders! Anyway, she drew me a picture. She says she has only to color it. Who, or what, is it? It's a character from Disgaea 3. Anyone ever heard of that game? 90% of the characters are demons in that game. Mainly, they look humans, but some have glowing eyes, pointed ears, fangs, maybe horns and/or wings... etc. You get the idea. Yeah, well, there's a Home Ec. teacher in that game (aka Chef). I frankly love him a bit more than the spotlit main characters. His name is Mr. Champloo (I think his name is laughable right there, because a few times, in the game, I've caught the English voice actor incorrectly pronouncing it "Mr. Shampoo" wink . He talks "cooking language" and tries to act like Emeril by randomly going, "boom", proceeding his sentences.

The picture goes like so! One the left side is a fantastic pose he's striking in his game garb. He's got this fire pattern thing going all over his clothing, and he's got these manically evil looking eyes. It's actually hard to draw the 3,400 year old demon (turns to 34 in our age). On the other side... he's naked, save for his trademark bandanna and... a pair of boxers splattered with hearts on it. HEARTS. Oh, my god. OH, MY GOD. HEARTS. I can't tell you how dang funny (if not comically cute) that is. He's striking this badass fighting pose, getting ready to put someone's arse on fire with his punching attacks (and, quite literally, he does that in the game. Looking up his attacks CHEF'S SPECIAL, or BLAZING PALM on Youtube, and you'll see what I mean)... and he's in boxers with cute hearts on them. I'm giving a sick "squee" inside of my brain, right now, just thinking about it. That, and I can't stop cackling my own a** off.

Teen Night as good... besides one thing happening. This guy. Now, I know he's friends with some of my other pals... but... I don't know. He was trying to pester me. Picking me up and running away, with me slung on his shoulder, was not fun. I managed to squirm free, ending up slamming on the table and knocking over drinks. In revenge, I put ice down his shirt, hoping that would give him the message of, "don't you dare do that again, and we'll be fine". However, he kept up his horrible advancements towards me, and my friends. I hated it. He even began pulling on my wolf tail. I was fine with my friends playing with my tail, but him? No. Hell no. I wanted him to get away, and I tried to give him enough hints.

I have a horrible temper and, if I'm messed with or my friends are, I can let unholy hell out upon someone. In that place? I was afraid. Why? Number 1, people would back him up, and gang up on me. The mass of people he had supporting him out outnumber me and my friends easily. Number 2, the librarians. Even if I was defending myself, both he, and I, would be banned forever. Number 3, the most important ones... I don't want to show my friends my wrath. I really, really don't. NEVER, EVER. I've scared away people from my house who were unnecessarily trying to hurt my mom, or other loved ones. I'm sad to say that some of my buddies from Art class, in Highschool, saw my rage. I snapped at two people who were arguing (my friends, actually), and I began raising my voice, near to yelling. Of course, it scared the whole class, but I let my art teacher at the time relax from having to scold someone, again.

But yeah, horrible temper when my loved ones are being bothered. Since, at the moment, he was directing his attention to me and no one else, I decided not to beat him to a bloody pulp and, instead, deal with it on my own by ignoring him. I even asked Michael if I could stay nearby, just in case. I never want my friends to see it, so I'll try to just sort of ignore the person, or hang around others for protection. When I know I can't scare anyone (like my friends) away with my wrath, and I can easily stand up to myself without the other person having an unfair advantage, then I will.

At one point he grabbed my hands, coming up behind me, cornering me in one of the book aisle. I squirmed, trying to escape. Still behind me, he then grabbed me by the arms. Well... I couldn't help it. My temper let loose then. I was violently twisting, lurching from his grasp. He held tight, and, damn, his hold was good. However, my instincts to get towards my friends were strong, and I managed to walk forward even with him clinging to me. I even snarled at him. SNARLED! Like some caged animal! I swear... When I get angry, I get pissed.

That's when Seraph jumped into the fray. I was actually glad someone yelled at him. He kept advancing on her, and that's when I started pushing him away. At that point, I know Addie came up, and she was probably wondering what the hell was going on. I wanted to tell her, but I didn't know how. All I know is, for us, having a guy trying to come onto four innocent females like that, well, that gets us out of whack. I'm, well... I'm sure he jokes around like that to his friends... but we didn't know him. He was a complete stranger doing this and... it unnerved us.

Ahhh... oh, well, right? Whatever. He didn't spoil our fun. I'll just say though, if he shows up again, I'm going to go straight to the Librarians and make sure he's under watch. The main point of Teen Night is to enjoy themselves, not to have the worry that some guy is going to come up from behind and start trying to control you. No. I won't have that from a stranger, at all.

So yeah. No Teen Night next month. I wonder why, really... I suppose a break? I have no clue. I do know that a Librarian, Diane, was retiring. God... I'm going to miss her SO much!! I loved talking to the Librarian duo. She was so sweet. I hope she enjoys her retirement! Lord knows she deserves it for putting up with all of us.

I didn't even notice him. Maybe, it was the guy who kept calling me a chihuahua. A CHIHUAHUA. How the heck do I look like a chihuahua? Was he this blonde guy, because if it was, then he also would pet my ponytail. I wanted to punch him. And after reading what he did to you, I want to punch if even more! stressed stressed

Yup, that as him. Wait, he was calling you WHAT?! What the freck! Friggin' nerve of him... He pet your ponytail? Gaaaaaah... *shudders* He was trying to play with my hair at one point too. He's kinda weird, you agree? Also, I heard he was gay. Well... I'm starting to really wonder...

Let's punch him together next time. Next time... I'm not going to be worried I'll be banned. Seeing Seraph stand up to herself, I realized that I didn't have a good reason to not yell a bit myself. I was afraid of being banned? Good grief, I have no spine. lol...

I look like a scrawny girl, but I have a soul consumed in the worst inferno imaginable. Baaaaah! The librarians we have are pretty nice. In fact, they're the coolest. xD Yeah, she is. And... I don't know what the next one is going to be like. *gulps*

oooohhh *reads article* xd I doubt I could get the newspaper from Ohio, and if she publishes that article, Teen Night will get popular 3nodding . Lol, wrath can be bad sweatdrop once in a fit of rage I broke a plate over my sister's head. Since then I became half-pacifist (only half, 'cuz if anyone picks on any of my friends I go ballistic)

Angel, lemme see if I can scan or find the copy via online and post the article/link. Not the first time I've been in the newspaper with that library, so perhaps I can find it again. And heck yeah, popularity will skyrocket, which is good. If no one comes to them... we're in deep merde.

It's good to not always be a pacifist. One of my characters in my novel is a pacifist. However, by the end of the book he realizes you can't always be the peacemaker. Sometimes one needs to take actions, defending others more aggressively with offensive tactics to thine enemy. ( <--------- And I pulled that s**t out of my brain in .3 seconds. Not bad, huh?)

YESSSHHH!! Scan or find one! I don't think I've ever seen an article about a library that wasn't in some giant trouble sweatdrop . People don't come? Why not? It sounds fun! Is it one of those "Sign in" things or "Just show up and have fun" thing?

Well, in some situations, yeah (hence the word "Half" in "half-pacifist" wink but still, it's slightly better then punching out everyone that doesn't agree with you. Just look at all the terrorists running around! Lol, that just came to you? Wow, you ARE an artist xd
