I watch the stars as they are ripped from the sky
Fading away, wasting away to leave nothing but an empty hollow
The only thing left in this cracking void
Is the moon but she too will follow
The moons phases seem to hit fast forward
For her a quick and lonely death
And dying like the moon is me
I am surviving on one last breath
Disintegrating skies of black dust
A dark vacuum swallowing the world into its gaping mouth
And none of the poor people down below
Can accept what is happening, can accept the truth
Fading away just like the stars
Melting away like the sky
Waning like the moon
We were too blind to realise
To silent to say goodbye
