I lay beneath them all
I see naught but darkness
I don't see clearly
The faint gloing bulbs that surrond me
The rain is coming down
But not down from the sky
It is caused by the recent event
That is leaving puddles everywhere
The worst had happened
Where the ones that cry the easiest
Do not stop
Where the ones that only shed a few tears
Shed more than a few
Where the ones that always keep their cheeks dry
Completely break down
So I stand there
Not sure how to react
Feeling scared
One of the emotions
I didn't expect to feel
Now its gone
only the emptyness is left
Only the feeling
That has the rain coming down so hard
Even the young ones cheeks
Are left with puddles
Though they don't exactly know whats happened
Whats going on
They just have that feeling
Like the rest of us have
A few days later
I sit with the rest of his family
His friends
We all pray
Even those who don't truely believe
For him
Ourselves
And the ones around us
As i wonder why death
Always seems like the worst
And if life really does
Get better
