Log 3: Isles Invasion
“Father . . . Father no!”
As the clashing of the swords came, she heard the chiming of metals being banged together. A dancing monkey came banging pots and pans, hooting in happiness just like the owl did, who was spinning his head around and around. The banana was shaking its booty and screeching with joy. The fox played the harp with its bushy tail. And soon the creatures made a band and became famous at the bottom of a giant melting pot.
Huh? Wait, that’s not what happened. Selveana awaken from the suddenly weird, and non-realistic dream to the sound of her traps now clanking and whistling, meaning someone had set them off.
She looked over to see who the intruders were.
Well, just as I suspected. They did come.
The beings in black were knocked out from the special gas Selveana learned to make back when she was younger to defend herself.
Well, since I’m not being attacked, I can avoid conflict and killing them!
Selveana got up from her tree branch and began to run back to the city, hoping she could find some form of shelter so early in the mourning.
Hehehe, dancing monkeys. I wonder if Sid’s wife started making breakfast yet.


Emiri could hardly believe her eyes! Who are they? I never saw anyone like them before.
She watched in disbelief and horror, too shocked to move or turn from her gaze. She watched them rampage across the marketplace, destroying everything in their path. Emiri swear she could see some elves falling to the ground as the beings in black came into contact with them.
No . . . NO!
She was not prepared to see what happened next. As the beings in black were moving on to the next isle, Emiri heard loud noise, and she trembled as the a huge explosion erupted over the marketplace, and an enormous cloud of fire and smoke spewed from what use to be the marketplace. The shaking in the ground made the tree rustled about, and Emiri’s gaze was still fixed on the oblivion and ruins that use to be the marketplace.


“And there is a room opened up!” Sid’s wife announced.
“WooHoo!” Selveana jumped and exclaimed.
“And how many nights did Sid promised you?”
“5 days,” Selveana said in a playful tone.
“Alright, got it! Oh, would you like some complementary breakfast? I just started making it.”
“Oh boy would I!” Selveana exclaimed cheerfully.
Sid’s wife place down a big plate with eggs, bacon, sausage, and toast in front of Selveana.
“Here you go, enjoy!”
Selveana gobbled down on the hearty breakfast.
“Ahhh, that was good. That really hit the spot.”
Sid’s wife giggled,” You sure eat a lot.”
“Why wouldn’t I? Breakfast is the most important meal of the day. Besides, you make the best breakfast in all of Middle Earth!”
“Aw, why thank you Selveana,” Sid’s wife said happily, “So, what are your plans for today?”
“Probably just explore the shops here. Maybe they have something good, you never know.”
“Ah, shopping I see?”
“You can call it that. By the way, if you see Danielle, tell her I’m walking around here. I don’t want her worrying where I have gone off too,” Selveana said as she began to walk out the door.
“Alright Selveana, I’ll be sure to tell her that!” Sid’s wife called out.



Now the beings in black began to tear through the courtyard, the only thing left before they reached the palace.
Come on, got to move! They’re going to get Mother and Father! Can’t let them do that!
Emiri slowly began to move her hand over to her quiver as she pulled out an arrow. She readied her bow, and aim. You’re not going to get there that easy!
Emiri released her arrow. It zoomed through the air and hit one of the beings in black. Emiri watched as he fell to the ground. She smiled. Bullseye.
She readied more arrows and fired, killing about 10 more of the beings in black. Now there was only a few left. Time to meet your maker.
However, little did Emiri know, some of the beings in black broke off and crossed over into The Isle of the Great Forest, heading to where she was now.


“Selveana, there you are!” yelled the exasperated Danielle, now running over to where Selveana was standing now.
“Oh, there you are Danielle!” Selveana shouted back.
“Yeah, good thing Sid’s wife told me where you ran off too.”
“Well, I figured you would be worried sick about me,” Selveana admitted, “I’m just doing a little window shopping.”
“Oh, alright,” Danielle said with a sigh of relief.
“You know, you can go do something fun on your own if you want to. All I’m doing today is just goofing off. Go, relax,” Selveana encouraged.
“Alright, I guess I could use a break,” Danielle said.
“So, I’ll meet you at the inn later,” Selveana said.
“Okay.”
Soon, Danielle ran the other way.
“Don’t have too much excitement while I’m gone.”


Ha! Only one left now. But don’t worry. You’ll never reach the palace in time. Emiri began to c**k another arrow and aimed. But before she could fire, a ferocious tremble in the ground shook the trees violently. Emiri almost lost balance as she struggled to keep her hold on the tree. What the? It feels like the tremors are getting closer now, but . . . how?
Emiri looked behind her to see that several trees were falling over, as huge clouds of smoke came from them, and she saw the breath of the fiery inferno taking place on the isle she was on now.
N . . . no way! Emiri was shocked, unable to move her gaze away from the fiery destruction. Suddenly, a loud booming noise broke Emiri’s trance, and the trees all around her shook violently. Emiri struggled and pushed to keep herself from falling off, but to her surprise, the whole tree was falling. All the trees around her were falling, and some were starting to burn. As the tree went down, she saw one of the beings in black, standing there in all of the destruction that they caused. It spotted her, and threw a small knife at her. Emiri dodged it from going through her head, but instead it whizzed by closely leaving a cut on her cheek. She carefully, keeping her grip, felt the cut with her hand, feeling the warm blood ooze onto her hand. Grrh, those cold-hearted . . .
Emiri tried to jump back on to the isle, but the tree fell too fast. Soon, she was falling off the isle with the tree. She lost her grip on the tree, and was now free falling through the air.
“AHHHHHHHhhhhhhhhhhh!” screamed Emiri, gripping her bow tightly, falling through the air to her death.

Emiri swear she began to see her life flash before her eyes, but she then literally saw a light flash before eyes. She heard a very strange noise, coming from close by, all around her it buzzed, it crackled, it whizzed, it whistled. It was such a strange noise Emiri never heard before. And a huge flash of light, what looked to be a very light blue just as Miku’s eyes were, erupted from out of nowhere. She felt it enveloped her, and began to feel nothingness all around her. She saw what she think it could have been a huge tunnel or simply a huge orb she was in of that mysterious and strange light. It seemed like she was traveling, but yet it didn’t feel like she was moving at all. Emiri gazed around in bewilderment, unsure of what to think or what to do.
Eventually, she felt the ground beneath her feet, and had the sense of feeling come back to her. She gasped at air, feeling that she could breath again.
What was that? What just happened? Emiri felt completely drained of energy, and felt slightly dizzy from the unusual experience she just had. Emiri looked to find herself in a very different place. There was stones underneath her feet, that paved the streets, and around her were auburn walls, which must have been part of houses, and the sky had many clouds in it.
Clouds? I must not be in the sky anymore. But if I’m not in the sky, then . . . where am I? What is this place?
