Stress at bay
For a bit anyway.
Back into the world
To deal with my problems.
Listen to them fight
Hear the dog bark,
So her bear her teeth,
I can't hold back from growling,
So I won't!
Bite? I bite back!
Punch, fight, defend, win!
Be strong,
Head held high
Gotta keep a strong outside,
Be cold.
Or you'll cry.
Then they know.
You're human too.
Then they
Beat you and watch you die.
Then it's the end
Of the line.
So head high!
