It was just a normal day for this lonesome man(Toketsu) in his house. He was just walking across his yard to go tend to his many gardens. He loved tending to his gardens. Especially on a day like this because it was beautiful out.
He started walking over to his rose bush the one plant in his garden he loved and cared for dearly. He made sure it got its plenty of water everyday not missing a single rose. He loved when the little drops of water sparkled on the petals of the roses. How delightful and beautiful they looked.
As he finished watering them a dark cloud started to covering the sky. It had blocked out the sun but Toketsu could see as clear as day. He noticed mystic, dark, frightening beings flying across the sky with that dark cloud. Then something started toward him. Toketsu saw it coming. He tried to move but he couldn't all he could do was drop his empty water pail. So he decided to just stand there and wait hoping he wouldn't be harmed.
All of a sudden this dark black ghost like dragon rammed through Toketsu making him fall into his roses. As he lay there bleeding that dark dragon was taking over his body, mind, and soul. As he was being taken over his white robe started to turn an evil black looking color. Then a ghost like cape, just like how the dragon looked, started surrounding him and it became attached to him he couldn't take it off with all his strength. Toketsu then heard a voice inside his head. "Hello Toketsu. I bet you're wondering who I am. Why not travel into your memories and maybe you will figure it out," said the deep cracking voice. Toketsu didn't know what was going on so he decided to think in his mind, but the dragon made him look into his memories and sent him to first day when he met the soul inside the ghost dragon that attacked him.
"Yo. . .you . . .you're . . . Akedo . . .," said Toketsu in a frightened voice. "No this can't be. This isn't you. I know its not." Toketsu didn't know what was going on. He ran inside his house and looked into a mirror to see if anything was wrong with him or not. He noticed his mind wasn't playing tricks on him but it was really happening. Toketsu then noticed his face starting to get disfigured. He ran outside and saw that the sky was still black and the creatures were still flying through the sky. Toketsu looked at his roses. They turned just as evil as he did. "My roses." Then Toketsu's mind started to turn evil. He was being taken over he couldn't stop it. He screamed out in the agony it was causing him. Toketsu then stood up, picked off a rose from the bush, walked inside and stared into the mirror. It shattered.
"No one should see me like this," he said looking down at the broken pieces on the floor, "I'll kill them with one look." Toketsu then searched his house but couldn't find anything to hide his face. He walked outside into his garden and saw a mask on the ground. "Its better than nothing," Toketsu said as he put the mask on around his head.
Toketsu then walked off taken over by the dragon. He left a trail of blackness behind him. Following the trail was the dark cloud above it started moving after him as if he controlled it. Toketsu then walked into town just walking. Never stopping, just continuing on a journey he never thought would occur.
