The Queen of the Forest lived in the middle of a beautiful forest with different surprises and adventures lay around it. She used to live with her husband out in this giant castle, but sadly he had died of bowlio. Which is just a disease that makes your skin and body allergic to milk(the kind that comes from cows). The King had not known of it and he had gotten a horrible rash all over his body. He died not long after that.
After that had happened she wore her husband's hat and collar. She then ordered one of her seamstresses to make her gloves that looked just like her husband's arms that way she felt more in touch with him.
On a dark chilly night in the middle of October the queen came out for a walk in the moonlight trying to calm down since it had been an entire month of her husband's death. She was thinking to herself that the breeze was beautiful. It gave the falling leaves their own little adventure as they traveled down to the ground slowly. As she walked out from the forest surrounding her castle she looks up at the moon gazing into it. Her eyes started to shimmer as she started praying upon the moon. In the middle of her prayer she said a wish without even noticing it.
"Oh beautiful, beautiful moon I wish I had someone with me on this night to keep me company."
That was the wish she had spoken. She then opened her eyes in shock that she had actually done that. As she opened her eyes she looked at the moon and saw an odd sparkle come from it.
"What is that," she said in dismay. She blinked and squinted to see if she could get a better look at the glimmer. But as she was opening her eyes she noticed the shimmer was moving down towards the earth. It took her a little longer to realize that it was coming towards her.
"Has my wish really come true," she spoke as her eyes started watering from joy. Then the glimmer had touched down at her feet as the glimmer started turning into an odd creature.
"Oh you poor poor thing," she said picking up the creature, "let me help you darling."
She was really hoping she could help this poor creature out because she thought that it had a rough landing. The creature however was perfectly fine. It jumped out of the queen's arms and started to build these little bunny like dolls.
"Oh they look like very tiny dolls of you. You wonderful creature."
She knelt down to hug the creature and as she did the creature giggled and smiled. As the creature did this gold threads just began to start running around her. She thought she was in danger at first, but then she noticed that the threads were coming from the creatures ears and tail.
"Well aren't you just full of surprises."
She sat next to the creature and watched it at work in awe. The queen was just so amazed at the creatures abilities and speed. She had completely forgotten about time and everything. The next thing she noticed was that the sun was about to come up.
"Oh no the sun. Little creature the sun is coming up."
She was afraid for the creature because she wasn't sure if it would be able to live in the sunlight. The creature had then looked up into the sky and looked at the queen. It moved its mouth as an odd sound came out of the creatures mouth. The creature then started flying up towards the moon, and as the creature the queen stood up and said, "good by you darling little creature." She then looked down at the dolls and smiled.
"Thank you little friend."
That day after she had been given the little dolls she decided to take a stroll over to her husband's grave. She knelt down at it and started talking to it as tears started coming to her eyes. Then she started telling him about her experience last night. She laughed and smiled a lot thinking as though she was actually talking to the King. Just before she left she place one of the dolls the creature made next to his tombstone and told him to watch over it with care.
As she was walking up the castle she passed a little creek. So she decided to take a look into it just to see if she looked alright. When she looked she had the scarf and dolls she was given but when she looked harder into her reflection she swore that she could see the little creature coming back down for another visit.
