Bathing in Your Shame Tears are flowing down a stream Swimming in it trout do glimmer Rainbows shimmer through the steam Bathing in it trees grow greener
A dirty human showers in vain Fearing every fleck of shame Down into the sewers it drain Mixing and becoming maimed
Flowing from ones sink the same All that was, was now that shame That very shame they washed away Now the shame they use to wash
The stream that flowed for ever clean Just as the filled up sink does drain And as it dries and grows more green It steels away the trees in pain
Soon the flow is not The trees that grew are dead And the fish are bone And the men that did no thing Remain ignorant to their greatest shame
