There are people whom one loves immediately and forever. Even to know they are alive in the world with one is quite enough.
But is it enough to just know that they're there?
This year I met a fantastic guy who opened my eyes to how love should feel. I'd been chatting to him online for a long time but we'd never had the opportunity to meet untill this summer. He'd been there for me through some pretty sticky situations and it was nice knowing that someone out there was looking out for me.

To love is to receive a glimpse of heaven.
I thought I'd been in love before. But it was always a bit strange. I found myself being someone who I was uncomfortable with, trying to live up to my partners expectations. It wasn't untill I met this fantastic guy that I realised just how wrong I'd been in the past.
He made me see what it's like to REALLY be loved, for who you are inside, without having to put on airs and graces.

Honesty is the only way with anyone, when you'll be so close as to be living inside each other's skins.
That's certainly what it felt like!
I was lucky enough to find someone who I could be totally honest with, someone who I felt knew me inside out, and someone who I felt like I'd known forver. It made me see what I'd been missing out on.
And I wanted that feeling to last forever.
I'd finally met the man of my dreams, but just my luck he was already taken! For a while I was sad because I felt like I'd never get that feeling again. I fully believed that a feeling like that was once in a lifetime. But he stuck by me again, through the sadness and the dissapointment and encouraged me to go on.
So this entry's for him, just to let him know that he was right and to say thanks!
