Hello everyone! It's been way too long since my last update. Anyway, I have had an eventful few days... or, the last couple weeks have been eventful anyway. I've been spending a lot of time with my mother and her fiance. It remindes me of how precious she is to me and how much I love her. I wouldn't know what to do without my mother in my life. She's crazy, unethical, a pervert, and a procrastinating stubborn... bullheaded, has a temper from hell... oh god, I'm talking about myself here too. Like mother, like daughter. xp
Rids says more entries! More entries for j00 Ridley. I climbed the stairs in a lighthouse. It was only 130 stairs and 92 feet up to the balcony. It was pretty though and I had never been that close to a lighthouse, let alone climb up one. I also went on a Dune Ride for the first time. Being airborne over dunes of sand has a thrilling factor to it that I wouldn't pass up. I also found a fossil of a shark tooth in the dunes. At one time, Michigan was surrounded by sea water instead of fresh water. The dune people wanted it and I told them only if they would hand over some of the arrowheads they had dug up in the dunes. We didn't see eye to eye. I kept my tooth. 3nodding
I've been in and out of the doctors lately for appointments on my thyroid. I had some 'catscans' of my throat, neck, and the back of my neck done. I'll get the test results back soon. They were amazed at the shape of my spine. With the shape of it, I shouldn't be able to walk as well as I do. Shows people don't know everything. I feel fine. My thyroid isn't really bothering me right now either... but if not taken care of, years down the line it could kill me. Hence, it's better to take care of this now rather than let it build up.
Out of seven kittens, I now have four left. They're getting bigger and they're so adorable! I also had time to reflect over something lately. My ex-boyfriend and I have started talking to each other more since our breakup over five years ago. It's natural I suppose to want to tie up loose ends and make things work again with any past relationship, I think? Anyway, having time to reflect over things, it made me realize how much I've grown in just five short years. I used to be such a child! A wimpy, naive child at that. I'm very happy to say I'm not such a child anymore. As for naive, everyone is a bit naive. Naivete is a part of life.
